By maintaining your MRCA membership and your event participation, we are able to continue to bring you the member benefits that you have come to depend on. In case you are not yet a member, newer to the Association (or maybe just need a little refresher), I’ll remind you what those Member Benefits are: QUARTERLY MAGAZINE: MR Magazine highlights Association activities and upcoming industry events. It also provides relevant news, including labor, legal and safety matters, items of general business interest, and economic updates. EMAIL BULLETINS: The MRCA EBulletin brings industry news to our members in between newsletter issues. It also provides information on any upcoming seminars, webinars or training available to our members. CONFERENCE: For 75 years, MRCA has hosted one of the best industry conferences in the Midwest. The conference provides an excellent opportunity to hear from industry leaders about trends & forecasts, updates on regulations and codes, network with peers, establish relationships, and meet dozens of industry manufacturers and suppliers. TECHNICAL COMMITTEE: MRCA’s Technical & Research Committee comprised of a dedicated group of contractors and prestigious technical advisors, serve as a powerful watchdog in the roofing industry, protecting contractor interests and keeping MRCA members informed about the viability of new and existing roofing systems. MRCA also provides Professional Technical Advice relating to engineering or roof performance issues. MRCA FOUNDATION: The purpose of the MRCA Foundation is to raise awareness and improve the industry by supporting educational programming, industry research, and industry-related academic scholarships. Your ongoing support of the MRCA Foundation is critical to sustaining this important mission. SAFETY PROGRAM: Included in every MRCA Membership is the SHARP Plus (Safety and Health Agenda for Roofing Professionals) program which provides quality work safety materials to help you and your company meet the minimum requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Materials include Monthly Meetings; Weekly Toolbox Talks; an Annual Safety Awards Program; a Company Safey Manual Template; Employee Safety Orientation Videos in both English and Spanish; CERTA Applicator Training; Hot Air Weld Safety Training; and the SHARP Plus Safety Certification Program to advance the safety culture of your company. LEGAL SERVICES PLAN: Members get one free 30-minute consultation each month with NFBA Legal Counsel at the office of Auman, Mahan & Furry. FULL-TIME ASSOCIATION STAFF: MRCA Members receive the service of full-time staff; ready to give direct answers to your questions or to find the source with the answer you need. We’ll help you get the resources you need to keep your business running smoothly.
