A recent success includes the formal inclusion of the post-frame foundation design standard in Section 1807.3 of the 2024 IBC. The committee Is currently working on several white papers which helped define the state-of-the-art for each topic including firewall continuity and the use of CCA treated wood in residential and commercial post-frame buildings. Building the Future: The NFBA Foundation The newly established NFBA Foundation (a 501(c) (3) organization) is instrumental in this progress. By providing dedicated funding for research, education, and the maintenance of industry standards, the Foundation ensures the long-term viability of post- frame construction. T&R COMMITTEE MEMBERS 2026 We extend our sincere gratitude to the committee members for their professionalism and dedication. As we continue to expand the industry's footprint, we encourage all NFBA members to engage with the T&R Committee on the technical challenges and opportunities ahead.
