62 / FRAME BUILDER - VOL7 NO1
DAN SCHLAMP
MEIGS, INC.
CROSS PLAINS, WISCONSIN
Dan “Booner” Schlamp has built it all—from simple run-in sheds to massive 160' x 400' grain
buildings. Over the course of his career, he has led the construction of multiple multi-million-dollar
horse barns and a wide range of unique, complex projects.
With more than 40 years in the post-frame industry, Booner brings unmatched experience and
consistency to every job. Even as crew members have changed over the years, he has remained a
steady leader—adapting seamlessly while continuing to deliver the highest quality workmanship.
Booner joined Meigs Inc. in 1985 and has served as lead foreman ever since, often taking on the
role of project manager as well. His deep knowledge of construction methods and project execution
allows the company to confidently bid on and complete virtually any project imaginable.
His reputation speaks for itself. Customers frequently request Booner by name, and his standing in
the industry has made him a consistent source of new business and leads.
In addition to his project leadership, Booner plays a critical role in training new employees, ensuring
they understand safety requirements and maintaining high standards across all crews.
