2026 ELITE BATTEN CHALLENGE

he Elite Batten Challenge was a thrilling competition at 
the NFBA 2026 Show in Oklahoma City, drawing both 
skilled and inexperienced participants to test their speed in 
installing Metal Exteriors' innovative Elite Batten system using Elite 
Batten clips and screws on 36-inch Elite Rib panels. Top performers 
included 1st place winner Derek Graber at an impressive 20.71s, 
Lyle Kauffman in 2nd at 21.6s, and Mikey Suowiaik in 3rd at 
22.62s—proving the system's ease, strength, and hidden-fastener 
reliability for post-frame wall applications with or without 
sheathing. This showcase highlights our patent-pending design 
available in a robust library of paint options that include a Lifetime
