FRAME BUILDER - VOL7 NO1 / 63
40' X 376' STRUCTURE FOR MT. OLYMPUS WATER PARK IN WISCONSIN
DELLS — A NFBA BUILDING OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNER
Among his many accomplishments are more than five
multi-million-dollar horse barns and several award-
winning builds. One of the most notable projects he
led was a 40' x 376' structure for Mt. Olympus Water
Park in Wisconsin Dells—an NFBA Building of the
Year award winner. Reaching heights of up to 40 feet
and finished with a coated foam exterior designed to
resemble an ancient Greek structure, the project was
completed on a tight deadline in just over three weeks.
Booner has also served as foreman on two additional
NFBA Building of the Year award-winning projects.
Over the decades, he has witnessed significant changes
in the industry—from evolving customer needs to
shifts in workforce dynamics—yet his commitment
to safety, craftsmanship, and excellence has never
wavered.
His pride in his work and dedication to his crews are
evident in every project he completes. As Dave Budden
notes, Booner’s nomination for this award is long
overdue.
