MICA Recognizes Excellence in Workplace Safety with 
2026 Safety Best Practices Awards
S
afety remains one of the core 
values of the Midwest Insulation 
Contractors Association (MICA), 
and during the 69th Annual 
MICA Conference, the association 
proudly recognized companies that 
have demonstrated an outstanding 
commitment to workplace safety 
through the MICA Safety Best Practices 
Awards.
Presented by MICA Safety Committee 
Chair Ashleigh Gleeson, the annual 
awards honor companies that are 
dedicated to building strong safety 
cultures and continuously improving 
their safety programs. Rather than 
competing against one another, each 
participating company is evaluated 
independently against established 
safety standards and industry best 
practices.
Companies are recognized based on 
their overall program score:
•	 Bronze: 67–75%
•	 Silver: 76–83%
•	 Gold: 84–92%
•	 Platinum: 93–100%
During the awards presentation, 
MICA General Counsel Gary Auman 
addressed attendees, emphasizing 
the importance of maintaining a 
strong safety culture and reinforcing 
that safety is essential to protecting 
employees, strengthening businesses, 
and advancing the insulation industry 
as a whole.
Each participating company received 
an engraved award plate recognizing 
their achievement, along with detailed 
feedback to help further strengthen its 
safety program.
