interruptions, and critical decisions. Then drift occurs—the accepted standard 
gradually changes, and no one notices when the line moved.
Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience in industrial and construction 
environments—including the U.S. Air Force, hazardous chemical plants, and 
food and beverage facilities—Jaison Thomas introduces a practical framework 
that helps construction professionals recognize these conditions before they 
lead to an incident.
Attendees will learn how to identify pressure, overload, and drift in real 
time, apply consequence-first communication techniques that replace 
vague probability-based language, and foster a culture where employees feel 
empowered to pause, speak up, and address risks before they become costly
