www.mrca.org — Midwest Roofer 6 MRCA IS A STRONG RESOURCE FOR ROOFING PROFESSIONALS Bill Seibert, MRCA President O ne of the things I appreciate most about the roofing industry is that it’s full of people who are always looking for ways to improve. Whether it is improving their companies, their teams, themselves, or the quality of work they deliver to their customers, that mindset of continual improvement is also what drives the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association. MRCA exists to help roofing professionals grow stronger businesses and stay connected to the larger industry. Membership isn’t just about belonging to an association- it’s about having access to education, resources, and relationships that help contractors navigate an increasingly complex business environment. Whether it’s safety training, technical guidance, leadership development, or simply learning from peers who face many of the same challenges, MRCA continues to provide meaningful value to its members. One area where we’re seeing tremendous growth across the industry is in service and maintenance operations. Many contractors are recognizing that a well-run service department can create stronger customer relationships while providing consistent revenue opportunities. By the time you read this message, MRCA will have held their very first Service Summit held in conjunction with the Ohio Roofing Contractors Association and Tracey Donels of Service First Solutions. Tracey has worked with contractors across the country to help build successful service divisions, and this event was focused on practical strategies and ideas that companies could take home and put into action. It’s a great example of how industry partnerships can deliver valuable education to contractors who want to keep improving. Looking a little further down the calendar, we’re also preparing for the all new MRCA Leadership Summit set for November 18-19, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida. This event promises to be one of the most valuable opportunities for company leaders within our association and industry. The Summit allows owners and executives to step away from the day-to-day demands of running a business to spend time focusing on leadership, strategy, and the future of our industry. Just as important, it provides an environment where meaningful conversations can take place and relationships are strengthened. At the end of the day, organizations like MRCA succeed because of the people who participate. I’m grateful for the contractors, associate members, volunteers, and partners who continue to invest their time and energy into this association. Your involvement ensures that MRCA remains a strong resource for roofing professionals across the Midwest and in interesting times like these there is no better reason to get involved in the MRCA. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events and continuing to move this industry forward together. Bill Seibert MRCA President Fisher Roofing of Kearney Presidents Message
