That’s what the judges had to say about a breathtaking copper roof installation on a home in Possuum Kingdom, Texas, located about two hours outside of Fort Worth. Originally, the home had a galvalume standing seam roof that had been damaged by hail. When the current homeowner purchased the property, he decided he wanted to replace the roofing system entirely with copper, including the gutters and downspouts on all three structures – the house, guest house and boat garage. Massive in scale, the homeowner chose Metal Master Roofing to spearhead the project. The company handled all the prep work and partnered with its long-time sub, Copper Masters in Fort Worth, on the installation. This meeting is part of their year-long celebration of the association’s 40th anniversary. ORCA President, Fred Horner, welcomed attendees for a great night of food, fellowship and games at the BrewKettle’s sports suites. In addition to the fun, members and future members received information on Ohio’s new E-Verify Law compliance; the ORCA Workers Compensation Group Rating Program; the Commercial Roofing Licensing Bill; and the Private Prompt Pay and Private Retainage Reform initiatives. The MRCA/ORCA Service Summit being held in Columbus this April received a lot of attention as did MRCA’s HAWT and CERTA training programs.
