b"THE OFFICIAL NFBA MAGAZINEA MESSAGE FROMJOE SHIMPNFBA PRESIDENTA re you ready for the 58th Annual NFBA Conference & Building Expo? Im excited, but to say Im completely ready would not be PRESIDENT'S MESSAGEthe truth. I have an idea of what/where/who/when my plans will be, and thats about the extent of it, an idea! Over the next few weeks, reality sets in that I need to make all my travel arrangements, and more importantly, come up with my game plan for my time at Expo. While the educational sessions, Expo floor and many events can fill up my schedule easily, I look forward to seeing many friends and colleagues the most! The opportunity to network amongst the multitude of post frame industry leaders and enthusiasts at Expo is something I cant help but to be excited about. Over the last few years, as Ive grown with the NFBA board, Ive realized that we truly engage a broad group of members! While I make a great effort to visit as many booths as possible, events, and other opportunities while at the Expo, I always leave wishing I had a few more hours to meet someone new and learn about what brings them to our show. Simply put, Ill plan the trip logistics, plan my schedule of activities out, and still arrive looking for what else I can experience at the show! When you have an opportunity to do so, please take a moment to introduce yourself to me or any of our other NFBA Board Members, we want to hear from you and appreciate your encouragement, feedback, and want to learn more about you!As the year winds down, the NFBA, like many other associations will send out invoicing for dues to renew your membership. The NFBA Board and Staff work hard to ensure that the dues provide our members with value well beyond the financial commitment we ask you to make. You can see the many efforts that go into NFBA events, magazine articles, posts, and newsbut there is so much more being done to boost the post frame industry and grow our footprint! There are NFBA and volunteer efforts towards research, technical advising, education, legal, code, business, safety and every other aspect of what we, the post frame industry collectively does! We look forward to you continuing to partner with us at the NFBA and building a better future for our industry.Lastly, time is ticking to get your cowboy boots and hat if you dont have them already, see you in Oklahoma!Joe Shimp 2025 NFBA EXPO FLOOR WITHRURAL RENOVATORS NFBA PresidentConestoga Buildings6 / FRAME BUILDER - VOL6 5"
