Inadditiontotheceilingconcentrationprovisions,whichwillbemost difficultifnotimpossibletomeet,theproposedstandardswouldimpose manyotherrequirementsuponemployers,includingpre-employmentandperiodicmedicalexaminations,specificrequirementsastopersonalprotective equipmentandclothing,recordkeeping,workertraining,etc. Theseare"proposed\'\'standards.OSHAmayormaynotadoptstandards dealingwithoccupationalexposuretocoaltarpitchandasphaltfumes.
