people themselves and the connections they
make that make it worth coming back every
year.
Looking Ahead
I also want to take a moment to recognize
the work being done at the NUICA level. The
leadership there is doing some genuinely
good work on behalf of our industry, and
as CSIA we need to find meaningful ways
to support that effort. We’re stronger when
our regional and national organizations
are pulling in the same direction, and I’m
committed to making sure CSIA is an active
and contributing partner in that work going
forward.
To the contractors currently at the table
in labor negotiations — we know it’s not a
small thing. Several contracts came up for
renewal this year across our region, and
those negotiations take time, energy, and
patience. I want you to know that CSIA is
in your corner. That’s what this association
exists for — the resources, the legal counsel,
the collective experience of contractors
who have sat where you’re sitting. You’re
not doing this alone. Good luck, and don’t
hesitate to lean on us.
Nashville treated us well this spring —
we’re going back. The 2026 ESICA/CSIA
Fall Conference is set for September 2–4 at
The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in
Nashville. Register now at:

A reminder that CSIA Scholarship
Applications are due July 15th. If you know
a deserving student in our industry, please
encourage them to apply. This is one of the
most direct ways our association invests in
the next generation of people in this trade.
On the board front, we have a number of
director terms ending this fall. If you’ve been
thinking about getting more involved in
CSIA leadership, now is a great time to have
that conversation. This association is what
its members make it, and we always benefit
from fresh perspective and energy at the
board level.
Thank You
To our 19 sponsors — your support makes
this event possible and your commitment
to this association doesn’t go unnoticed.
To Rachel Pinkus and the CSIA staff — the
logistics behind an event like this are no
small thing, and you made it look easy.
And to every member who made the trip to
Nashville: thank you. Seventy-eight people
in a room talking honestly about the future
of this industry is exactly what CSIA is
supposed to be.
See you in Nashville this fall.
Best regards,
Chris Tremberth
