Mr.Boonereportsthatthenewspecificationswillincludethe followingprovisions: 1.Frominstallationofthevaporbarriertogravelingin,absolutely no deviations from the specifications will be permitted.If any deviations are found,the corrective action will be to completely tearoffandstartover.NOEXCEPTIONS. 2.Testcutsaretobetakeneachdayaftergravelinginandare to be sent to agovernmentappointedtesting laboratory.If thetest cuts donot pass,thecorrective actionspecifiedis that thejobbe immediately stopped andthat portion of theroofingsystem completed onthedaycoveredbythetestcutsmustberemovedandroofing applicationstartedover.NOEXCEPTIONS. 3.Qualitycontrolreportstatementsto theeffect that yourwork complieswiththeletterofthespecificationsmustbesubmitted daily. 4.Alltankersandkettlesmustbeequippedwithchartedtemperaturerecordersandrecordingsmustbefileddaily. Mr.Boonepointsoutthatthenewspecificationsrequirethatall test cut samples be taken after gravelis applied,whichleaves absolutely nowaytomakecorrections.Further,thisprocedureiscontraryto will manufacturers\'recommendations and,itprobably take at least 30days forresults ofthetest cutstobereturnedfromthetestinglaboratory.
