As the association executive director, this is one of the most frequent requests I receive from members – members who are being impacted by the rising costs of premiums, and plans that have severe limitations. Last year, I set a goal to provide an option to members to help ease this burden. We are excited that our ANJC chiropractors will have the opportunity to explore the Medova plans and determine if these are a fit for themselves, their families and their practices. After years in the making, the Licensed Chiropractic Assistant (LCA) regulations should be finalized by the time this issue of NJ Chiropractor hits newsstands. The first of its kind in the nation, the licensing of chiropractic assistants provides LCAs to serve as practice expanders – allowing for doctors to provide care to more patients, and thus having an even greater positive impact on our New Jersey residents. Programming information will be released to membership in the upcoming weeks. The ANJC Sports Council has launched! Our first Sports Council seminar will be June 14. We are thrilled to offer additional training and opportunities to our members. As we prepare for our Spring Summit, I remind our ANJC members that we are processing all continuing education transcripts for ANJC courses in-house, and it is included in your membership dues! We continue to take pride in providing this service to membership, saving each of our members processing fees as well as turning around CE credits lightning fast. All continuing education transcripts are easily accessible 24-hours a day through your online ANJC member portal. Soon enough, spring will be drawing to a close – stay tuned for exciting updates of all the great things to come as 2018 continues!
